Portland has a lively and active WordPress community, with meetup events at least monthly (sometimes more!). After a 2-year hiatus, the community rallied to bring WordCamp Portland back in 2017.

The Portland WordPress community is made up of a diverse group that loves to learn, teach, and spread the knowledge of WordPress. Our Meetups include User and Developer topics to create an inclusive environment from the beginner to the expert. There’s always something new to learn!
Our WordCamps are a day full of connection with old and new friends, knowledge & expertise shared through out the day, and sometimes interesting visitors such as the Fairy BlogMother back in 2008. Yes, she really does exist!When word gets out to the WordPress community that WordCamp Portland has a date we have attendees and speakers from near and far! Our community is welcoming and inviting and it doesn’t hurt that our city is very interesting to visit.Have you heard of “Keep Portland Weird”? The WordPress community here in Portland wants to “Keep Portland Word”! We do that by growing the knowledge and connection in our community with our love of WordPress.
