São Paulo is a huge metropolis. As Wikipedia defines us “The metropolis is […] the most populous city in Brazil, the Western Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere, besides being the largest Portuguese-speaking city in the world.” Yes, we’re bigger than New York and Mexico City. Crossing the city by car, can take easily 3 hours, if the traffic is “normal”.

Like New York, São Paulo has everything. From a great cultural scene to a huge diversity of gastronomic options (we love pizza, hot dog, hamburger, sushi, feijoada, and I could go on…). From the headquarters of the biggest world companies to many small entrepreneurs starting a business. Here you can find people from the whole world, it’s easy to meet descendants of Japanese and Italian immigrants, but also people that actually came from China, Korea, Syria, Angola, Haiti, Bolivia, and many other countries.
So here is the best thing about our WordPress community: we are a bunch of people that are so different, that often the only thing we have in common is our love for WordPress.
Since 2012, we had 56 meetups and 7 WordCamps. We talked about almost every topic from the WordPress ecosystem. We’d like to invite you to come to São Paulo and meet us, share some experience and knowledge about WordPress and other things.
