Community Spotlight: WordPress Arizona

“The Arizona WordPress meetup community is amazing for many reasons. I’ve been a member for six years and throughout the years there has been one absolute characteristic throughout the community’s longevity: It is extremely welcoming and giving. The AZWP leadership is professional and genuinely passionate about sharing their knowledge about WP. The leadership has also been proactive and responsive in creating meetups and lines of communications to meet the needs of the community. When I first started attending in 2012, there was one meetup in the Phoenix metro area, now there are four different meetups throughout the valley each month. In addition to responding to the geographical needs, the community has created these meetups with a variety of WP users in mind: general, developers, business owners that create WP options for their clients and e-commerce users. I’m a casual user of WP and when life has made me too tired to go learn WP, I still go just to be around the great people in our community because they have something for everyone and are always willing to meet folks where they are with a smile and enthusiasm!”
